American Watchmen was founded in July 2016 after breaking away from Red Millennial following the publication’s decision to adopt a strict Never Trump stance. Our founding Editors, all of whom backed Donald Trump for the Presidency, did not feel it was in keeping with the principles of free speech to purge fellow right wingers for simply expressing a difference in preference for a Presidential candidate and thus American Watchmen was born.

American Watchmen understands that conservatism is a large ideology and welcomes right wingers of all stripes.  We will not censor or deliberately change the content of our writers in any way.  Through a free and open format American Watchmen will present a wide array of opinions on the right to our audience.

The 2016 election exposed the fissures within the conservative movement.  Never has the modern conservative movement been so divided as today.  American Watchmen through its content will bring breaking news, conservative opinion on literature, entertainment and the breaking political scene to its readers.  Won’t you join us?
